Search Results

After hitting the Search button you will be provided with the results of your query. Each found item will be listed with a title and some additional meta information dependent on the document type. For emails you will for example see the sender and recipients, whereas an appointment item displays the location.

On the right hand side you will see a full text preview for the selected item.

To narrow the search results down or expand them, you can easily select a search scope from the filter list located in the page header section. You can for example set the filter for emails only. The results will be updated automatically. The second list allows you to define the preferred sorting, which by default is relevance. It however often makes sense to see the results in chronological order: just select the date entry.

Another way to narrow the search results or to initiate another search is using smart tags. In the search results you will notice that most of the displayed meta data is a clickable link. A found email for example displays its recipients. By clicking on one of the recipients you will start a new search showing all mails sent to this person.

IntraSeek offers a bunch of easy to use features which will save you time, day by day. Email addresses or phone numbers included in the search results will be displayed with a leading email or phone icon. Just by clicking the link, you'll start your email or VoIP program to contact the person.
